With the surplus of different features available today when it comes to digital cameras, one would think that you could pretty much take your new camera out of the box and instantly be taking professional quality photos. This couldn't be further from the truth. I know I personally used to think this way, but then I realized that I needed some training.

is pretty much the best book on the subject of digital photography that you'll be able to find.

One of the great finds inside this book is that there's over 100 photos enclosed that the author explains in great detail what he did to capture these images. Not sure about you, but most picture books basically show the picture and not tell you exactly how and why they took that picture in a certain way to capture the quality.

If you're new to digital photography, you may not be aware but you need different strategies for different occasions, such as one for weddings, sporting events, fireworks, shooting sunsets and many more. This book goes over each situation and tells you exactly how to take these pictures for the best results.

One of the most difficult scenes to shoot is a low light shot. The author gives you tips on handle low light shots.


Digital photo editing is also enclosed in the book. If you have photoshop installed on your computer, you may have fooled around with it and found out how complicated this program is, not any more. This book goes over the basics and more advanced options in photoshop to make the program easier to use.
